Four of the authors whose work appears in the first issue of New Journal of 新利手机客户端Chemistry for 2014 tell us about their work and what they hope to achieve in 2014

Prof.卡塔兹娜奥斯托夫斯卡Professor Katarzyna OstrowskaJagiellonian Universityin Poland and co-workers have published an investigation on the design and sensing abilities of a range of integrated azaheteroarene fluorophores designed to recognize a variety of different ions.Katarzyna says that,"As an organic chemist,I was fascinated to see how the minor modifications of structure affect the fluorescence emission and recognition of zinc and indium metal ions."
